68th Dubrovnik Summer Festival will be officially opened on July 10th in front of the church of St. Vlaha with the lyrics of Hymn to freedom and raising Libertas flag. In 47 days, at over 15 ambient locations, nearly 2,000 artists from all over the world will present around 80 drama, music, opera, ballet, folklore and other programs to international audiences of 60,000 domestic and foreign visitors.
Tickets for around thirty musical, theatrical, ballet and other programmes – which will be shown at the 68th Dubrovnik Summer Festival from 10 July to 25 August – are available online on the Dubrovnik Summer Festival site dubrovnik-festival.hr and via ulaznice.hr service. The online purchase with your Mastercard and Maestro cards will get you 10% off tickets, while spending over 500 KN will provide you a 30% discount voucher for the Festival souvenirs.

Dubrovnik Summer Festival (Dubrovačke Ljetne Igre) is held annually in Dubrovnik from 10th July to 25th August. The Festival started back in 1950’s and includes daily performances of theatre plays and classical and folk music and dance.
The shows are held in several open-air stages within the Old Town created exclusively for that purpose around Dubrovnik’s squares and towers. The indoor stages inside Crkva Svetog Vlaha, Knežev Dvor and Sponza are also used as Festival venues.
Being one of the most important art festivals in Croatia, Dubrovnik Summer Festival attracts the best Croatian artists as well as some international names. It also attracts all sorts of crowds – from snobbish to fun and unpretentious arty types.
