For those who just know the magic of cyclotourism or just want to relax by the easy ride through nature, the Pannonian basin is a great choice. Try the Vinea Circular Trail that begins and ends at the Chapel of St. Ivan in Venus. Vinea trail is circular and 12,4 km long. Characteristics of this trail are very similar to Labrusca trail. The bigger part of trail follows macadam path (forest roads and vineyard paths) and only smaller part is asphalt road that leads through villages. The trail starts from the centre of Venje village (near the chapel).
First 3,5 km Vinea trail share with Labrusca trail – you will pass through Gornji Mitrovac and Donji Mitrovac and then turn left. After entering the forest, ride another 1,5 km where Labrusca trail leaves Vinea trail. Vine trail continues uphill 600 m besides Ilidžanski stream. Next 3,5 km trail follows easy-going undulating forest road. The end of the forest road is also the highest point of the trail (500 m a.s.l.). Here you will turn left (South), on forest path that leads quite steep through forest towards vineyards. Unforgettable view on vineyards and its vicinity opens when you exit forest. Trail continues steep through vineyards next 2 km, when you reach Hrnjevac village where our trail meets trails No. 1 and No. 2. Further trail heading East, towards Venje village. When you reach Venje, turn left and ride until you reach chapel where this trail ends. Turn left and left again up the asphalt road all the way to the lookout which has an imposing view of Vransko lake and Kornati islands in the back. This is the only demanding ascent on the route. Return is the same way to the lake. From there follow the gravel to the channel which connects the lake and the sea. Follow the channel to the Adriatic main road. Take the road west.
