EXIT festival with a historical maximum of 215,000 visitors entered the new era

This year’s EXIT festival recorded a new record of over 215,000 people who passed through the gates on the Petrovaradin fortress from 5 to 9 July. This year’s edition will be remembered for several major milestones such as zero day with absolute haedliners on the main stage, but also on the new spectacular mts Dance Arena for which praises come from all sides.

The spectacular ending of the five-day Exit this year surpassed all fifteen years of existence of the mts Dance Arena in the incredible performance of Nina Kraviz, who has experienced ovations that we have seen so far only at the concerts of the greatest rock stars. With such an exciting finale, Róisín Murphy also returned to the audience after fourteen years to rejoin the crowd in the main stage by changing costumes, presenting new songs and sweating plush honey in a sign of peace.

After he came a day earlier and surprised all the guests present at performance of the Foreign Beggars group, the main stage was won by Rag’n’Bone Man last night, confirming the status of the fastest growing soul star in the world. In his deep voice and planetary popular hits on the last day of Exit jumped over 42,000 people. Great fun, following the example of David Guetta last year’s performance, was made by Hardwell, the man who has been one of the world’s top three DJs in recent years.

How big will be the 17th Exit festival it was clearly already on a zero-day day with the spectacular concert of The Killers, the best rock band of today that brought Las Vegas’s glamor and its biggest hits to the main stage. The following day confirmed Liam Gallagher, who was delighted, immediately after his performance at the Petrovaradin Fortress, shared with his fans that Exit in Novi Sad was “one of the best festivals on the planet”, whose audience was “biblical”. Solomon and Dixon did not want to leave the fortress, and after their appearance, thousands of fans from the Arena were taken to the aftermath, where they entertained until one afternoon.

For years, EXIT has been organizing global humanitarian campaigns. This year many stars have responded too. The Killers donated their sticks. Paul Kalkbrenner, Jake Bugg, Rag’n’Bone Man and Liam Gallagher signed EXIT jerseys, while the music scene queen Róisín Murphy wrote a beautiful message to Exita on a red tape that symbolizes love.
