Tourist Organization of Serbia (TOS) will organize from June 7th to June 11th, a study visit to German journalists to promote Serbia as an attractive tourist destination.
During the visit titled “Danube, Drina, Morava – Western Serbia”, German journalists will have the opportunity to meet the “city break” holiday offer in cities and in the countryside, introducing the three major rivers: the Danube, Drina and the Morava.
In addition to enjoying rivers journalists will enjoy culinary magic of Zlatibor region, the wines of Fruska Gora, as well as attractions such as driving railway attraction: Sargan Eight, visiting the mausoleum of the Karadjordjevic family and the monastery of the Ovčar-Kablar Gorge
The study visit will be organized with the support of local tourist organizations of cities of Novi Sad and Cacak and the local tourist organization of Zlatibor and Topola.
According to statistics in 2016, Serbia was visited by a total of 63,935 German tourists, an increase of 5 percent compared to the same period last year. The uptrend has continued in the first 4 months of 2017, representing an increase of German tourists by 24 percent compared to the same period last year.
