About me
Lilyana Martich
My name is Lilyana Martich. I was born on December 4, 1979, in the north of Montenegro, in the town of Bijelo Polje. There, I completed primary and secondary school, and during summer vacations in high school, already at the age of 16, I began working in Budva, where we would go every year for summer holidays. It was then that my work with people, including many foreigners, began.
At the age of 20, I got married, and soon after that, I had children, while in between, I worked in various jobs in the tourism sector. Until 2013, when my childhood dream came true. I received an offer to train as a tour guide. It was my chance to make the most of my knowledge of four foreign languages, which I already spoke fluently by that time. I obtained a license with registration number 1028 to conduct tours in English, Russian, French, and Italian. Since then, I have been working as a guide, introducing people from all over the world to the culture, history, traditions, and customs of the Balkans.
This job brings me great pleasure, as I have the opportunity to make people from distant countries fall in love with my country. I approach each guest personally and with great attention, focusing on the aspects that interest the guest the most. Continuous learning allows me to always come with fresh information and interesting stories, complemented by humor and a relaxed atmosphere. On my tours, I strive to make people feel at home in Montenegro and the Balkans as a whole.
