We depart from Budva at 7:00 AM. The trip goes through Cetinje and Podgorica toward the Morača River Canyon, where the 13th-century Morača Monastery is located. We take a 30-minute break at the monastery and then continue through Kolašin and Mojkovac. The lunch break lasts 1 hour in a beautiful green area by the Tara River. We then head to the Đurđevića Tara Bridge — one of the most visited places in Montenegro — where we take a short break. There, you can try a zip-line ride across the canyon. We then continue toward the famous Durmitor mountain. Durmitor is one of Montenegro’s five national parks. It features 18 lakes, the largest of which is Black Lake, where we stop for 1 hour and 30 minutes. After that, we continue through the Komarnica River Canyon and Nikšić, returning to Budva around 8:30 PM.
The tour does not include: entrance to the monastery €3, entrance to the national park €5, Žabljak tax €1, food and drinks.
Tip: cover your shoulders and knees when visiting the monastery, bring a sweater or jacket as it can be chilly in the mountains. Bring a swimsuit if you plan to swim in the lake.
