Ostrog Monastery - Saint Basil of Ostrog
Ostrog Monastery – Departure by comfortable, air-conditioned buses from Budva is at 8:00 AM. Our route goes towards Cetinje and Podgorica to the Ostrog monastery. We arrive at the monastery around 11:00 AM. Ostrog Monastery was founded by Metropolitan Vasilije of Herzegovina in the 17th century. His relics rest in the cave church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Believers of all religions from all over the world come to Ostrog monastery. After Christ’s tomb and the Holy Mountain, the Ostrog monastery is the third most visited shrine in the Christian world. The visit of the monastery is scheduled for two hours. After that, we will visit the Lower Monastery, which was built in the 19th century. After that, we will go to a nearby restaurant for lunch.

The return to Budva is around 5:00 PM.
